Another Makeup Haul!

Hi!

I was thinking of doing a makeup video review on makeup I recently purchased, but I thought it would be good to write it out.

Essence:

I purchased two of their; All about candies and all about nude eyeshadow palletes. The shadow, paired with their ILOVESTAGE: Eyeshadow Base, it had a nice pigment to it. The candies were a little light, but I enjoyed it as I could continue to apply. The colours are very nice, I enjoy applying the white in their nude pallete, and I used the candies pallete on my vegas trip. I will consider purchasing their other colours!

Next up is Essence's Sun Club Bronzer + Highlighter. In Canada, at least where I am- the Soo Blush! and other new products haven't arrived yet, but I'm hoping they will. I was looking for a highlighter and bronzer, so I decided I would just use this one. I purchased the one for lighter skin tones, and so far it is quite nice. The colours aren't too strong, so you can reapply. What I love about it is it's scent- It's a coconut kind, so it doesn't smell like powder. (Which I love!). Their mosaic compact powder, also smells like coconut- which is very nice.

The one I would give 5/5 stars is their gel eyeliner. I was told eyeliner is most easiest in gel, and while I did use their pencils, (which are AMAZING!) this eyeliner has amazing quality. It goes on smooth, (Of course, make sure the brush is clean!) and it stays on. IT DOESN'T SMUDGE! Unless you begin to cry at the theatres, then yes- it may move around a bit. I own the black one and I have to say it is definitely something worth purchasing. If you are looking for eyeliner to use, definitely try this one.

I also purchased their eyebrow designer, and I think it's pretty neat. It isn't harsh, so you don't need to worry about having "sharpie" brows. I sometimes use it to fill in, gently, but it is easy to smudge. Make sure you keep your pencil sharp! At times it may seem a little "rough" to apply, so I've been sharpening it more than my other pencils.

That's it for my essence haul. Hope this helps you in anyway!
